Overview

Maersk is a global leader in shipping and logistics. Thecompany specializes in container shipping, supply chain management, and port operations, driving innovation in integrated logistics. Pricing for short-term customers was always a time consuming effort as the pricing manager had to collate data from multiple sources to PENNY

Challenges

Based on research conducted, we figured out issues & challenges into multiple stages of pricing. Some of critical challenges addressed

  • No live view of Ocean Pricing data
  • No activity log to view the updates made by any PMs
  • Manual setting of Pricing Ladders

Solutions

  • Redesign of pricing dashboard
  • Log Page with Amendment data
  • Integration of notification to auto enable Pricing Ladders on demand

In this phase, we did Heuristic evaluation of the entire app to figure out the issues in the existing app

Define

Based on the research data, we have created the Experience Map to figure out the challenges on each stage of the application. Creating Experience Map helped me to present the user challenges and expectations to senior stakeholders.

This project provided a lot of experience in how to conduct research with the inhouse users and in corporate sector. It also gave an immense experience of working on SaaS project. As it was an ongoing project, we continued taking feedback from users and did necessary enhancement to the product.
